ABOUT STEPHI
Stephi Briggs is a fully qualified and experienced Reiki Master Practitioner and Shamanic Healer based in Somerton, Somerset. She holds additional certification in Chakra Therapeutics and membership with The Reiki Guild. She also holds additional certification in Chakra Therapeutics.
Passionate about supporting the wellbeing of others, she brings a warm and compassionate approach to every session. Her aim is to create a calm and nurturing environment where clients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout their time with her.
ABOUT REIKI
Reiki is a gentle complementary therapy originating from Japan. The word Reiki (ray-key) is Japanese for ‘universal life energy’. Developed by Dr Mikao Usui in the early 20th century, Reiki evolved as a result of his research, experience and dedication. Reiki is open to people of all beliefs and aims to support wellbeing, balance and inner peace. Benefits may include deep relaxation and the promotion of a calm, peaceful sense of wellbeing.
During a Reiki session, the recipient remains clothed and comfortably lies on a couch or sits in a chair, with blankets and pillows provided for added comfort and relaxation. The practitioner places their hands non-intrusively on or near the body using their intuition and training as a guide. There is no massage or manipulation. Reiki can be used on the person as a whole, or on specific parts of the body. It is also possible to receive Reiki at a distance.
Reiki is taught by Reiki Master/Teachers, who have trained in the tradition passed on, in person, from Master to student. Students go through a process of initiation/attunement to the Reiki energy. They are then able to treat themselves and others, not only from a personal and emotional perspective, but also as an aid to individual development and spiritual growth.
The Cancer Research UK website includes details of why people with cancer use Reiki alongside their medical treatment. This does not mean Reiki is a treatment for cancer.

CHAKRA THERAPEUTICS
Reiki with pendulum dowsing to explore the chakras (energy centres). Crystals, a sound bowl, and chimes may also be used to enhance the session.

1st session: £60 1 hr 30 mins approx (50mins reiki, full client consultation & aftercare)
Following sessions: £55 1hr 10 mins approx (50 mins reiki, consultation & aftercare)
